for disability access. I am disabled and autistic, and I aim to make the arts and cultural sector a more inclusive and accessible place. I have navigated the world as a disabled employee, and I have also created new and exciting access programs for visitors to museums, galleries and theatres. I’m also an audio describer, creating verbal content for blind and vision impaired patrons of the arts. You can find some of my descriptions on my podcast, Describe Everything. My background in museums, teaching and visual art means that I understand the GLAM sector and its needs, especially with regards to education and programs. I have worked on writing workshops for people with dementia, quiet hours events for neurodivergent visitors, and creating access across organisations using large text font, transcripts, audio content and staff training.
